Raison d’Etre
Each morning I indulge in a session of pure imagination. It’s my absolute favorite time of day. Design, philosophy, art, interiors, culture, esoteric asides — wherever curiosity wants to go, we go. Following the golden thread of truth and beauty.
Exactly what I need to start the day
I punctuate the session with journal notes on creativity, the meaning of life, painting ideas, grand organizational plans. I begin to notice patterns emerging, like the golden thread might be weaving something bigger… what could it be?
And then. I get up from my cozy cream bouclé chair and poof! The day begins and the thread of inspiration disappears. Never to resurface in the same pattern again.
This blog is an artifact of that moment in time.
It’s an ongoing answer to my question — of how to turn inspiration into something tangible. And a challenge to examine, unpack, and metabolize the creative process in a way that inspires both you and me.
